Nursing Programme was established in 1994 to improve and Coordinate Nursing Education and Nursing Service.
At present there are :
60 Mission Hospitals
2 Colleges for B.Sc. Nursing
1 College for M.Sc. Nursing
1 College for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

•Guidance to maintain standard.

•Organize in-service programs to update knowledge and skill.
•Updating libraries and audio-visual aids .
•Publish Nursing books in local languages.
•Upgrading Nursing Schools
•Opening new Schools/Colleges of Nursing.
•Upgrading ANM programme to GNM Programme and GNM Programme to B.Sc Nursing Programme
B. Related to Nursing Service
•Provide scholarships to encourage Christian candidates to take up the profession.
•Guidance to maintain standard of care in hospitals and in the Community.
•Encourage specialization in nursing through further training.
•Ensure continued education programmes for updating knowledge and skill.
•Help in maintaining correct nurse - patient ratio in the Hospitals.
